Starlight Erasmus
STARLIGHT (Skill for Tourism and Recognition of the Importance of Dark Skies) is an Erasmus Plus project, brought to you by the European Union.
From 2022 to 2024, astronomers, biologists, philosophers and tourism innovators from seven countries will work together across borders. We will build a whole new field of knowledge, innovation, employment and exploration in Europe, thanks to the magic of starry skies. The more we learn about ending light pollution, the more stars we can see at night. Dark skies are a treasure nowadays. They are also an asset in tourism. Via Starlight, we aim at increasing employment opportunities for young graduates in training courses related to tourism and for touristic operators. (take out from the offical page)
09.09-13.09.2024 I participated in the Spanish Summer School in LIÉBANA and was hired as an Artist along with Lucía Moure to illustrate/paint the Residency – the places we meet (the animals we did not meet but we had expernts talk about them)
Due to the change of the location we had to improvise the small exhibition
